On May 21, 2025, severe storms caused the Bodri River in Kendal County to breach its banks,
resulting in devastating floods that severely impacted five BTR Indonesia emplovee families..
The company immediately organized donations from Chinese management staff, with nearly 80%
of contributions distributeddirectly to affected employees. The remaining funds established an
Employee Mutual Aid Fund to support future disaster
relief efforts.
This initiative not only provided critical assistance to help employees overcome immediate
challenges but also created a sustainable support mechanism. By doing so, BTR strengthened
employee solidarity and belonging, demonstrating profoundcare for its overseas workforce across
borders.
